Hugo Mercier is the CEO and co-founder of Dreem, a neurotechnology company dedicated to understanding and improving the way we sleep to help people live healthier, more productive and fulfilling lives. Hugo’s dream is a world where sleep is no longer seen as a constraint – but instead, a catalyst.
Hugo has lead his business through the development of the company’s inaugural solution – the Dreem Band – a first-of-its kind device that can monitor, analyze and modulate brain activity for better sleep directly in the comfort of someone’s home. The Dreem Band is the result of years of research, several academic partnerships and scientific collaborations, is Hugo’s first step in fulfilling his vision for ending the global sleep crisis.
In 2018, he has extended its best-in-class sleep solution with Dreem Coach, a new mobile application that is paired with the Dreem Band, helping people better understand their sleep behaviors and receive personalized expert care through deeper data analysis that is then matched with customized sleep recommendations.
